MARSOC posts SIGINT training sources sought
On March 2, the Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command posted a sources sought for Ground and Air Precision Geolocation training (Solicitation Number: H92257-16-U-0019). Questions are due no later than 8:00pm EST on March 13; sources sought submissions must be received by 10:00am EST on March 17.
The Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command is conducting market research to determine availability of a single firm capable of satisfying all three of the following: Ground and Air Precision Geolocation (PGL) training Modes (I, II, III, and V). The objective of this training is to ensure that Signal Intelligence operators are CERTIFIED in compliance with United States Signals Intelligence Directive DA3857: the policy that governs PGL training, certification, and operations.
This is a sources sought notice and request for information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. This special notice is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or Request for Proposal. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this Sources Sought. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Government Point of Contact listed below, by a potential offeror or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited.
The Government is seeking responses to this sources sought from all interested businesses capable of satisfying the entire requirement. Large and small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements at fair market prices.
