Harris receives $10 million tactical radio order from nation in Eastern Europe
Harris Corporation of Melbourne, FL announced on November 5 that it has received a $10 million order from an Eastern European nation to supply high-performance, high-frequency (HF) tactical radios that will create long-range, secure communication networks and enable users to connect seamlessly with coalition partners.
The radios are based on Harris’ highly successful Falcon® HF tactical radio family, which is used by U.S., NATO, Partnership for Peace and other defense forces around the world.
“The Harris radios will enable the nation’s Ministry of Defense to field secure communication networks that interoperate with their existing equipment, as well as with those used by coalition forces,” said Chris Young, president, Harris Communication Systems.
