GSA posts RFP for ISR tactical sensor data backhaul
On December 31, the General Services Administration posted the solicitation for USSOCOM, USAFRICOM, and Other Geographical Combatant Command (GCC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Tactical, Deployable Sensor Data Backhaul (Solicitation Number: ID05180024). Proposals are due by 12:00 p.m. Central Time on February 12, 2019.
The scope of work consists of but is not limited to obtain a tactical, deployable sensor data backhaul suite using Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) components and/or Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) products (Note: this contract will not be used to procure weapon systems-it will be used for procurement and fielding/support of highly specialized equipment). These systems shall be comprised of an integrated, small form-factor deployable suite capable of providing concurrent ISR sensor data backhaul for locations employing airborne ISR assets and without organic sensor data backhaul capabilities as well as allow receipt of other mission relevant full motion video from the Global Broadcast System (GBS) forward broadcast.
The capability shall be designed to support various DoD customers including, but not limited to, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), United States Pacific Command (USPACOM), United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), and other GCCs, with the likelihood of supporting additional customers. In addition, the Contractor shall provide necessary user, maintenance, training, and operation manuals—– identify/recommend/deliver government approved bench stock, spare and consumable kits; facilitate/provide pre-deployment training; provide depot functions; and secure/offer knowledgeable worldwide deployable Field Service Representatives (FSRs).
