Everbridge launches Winter Release (2015) of unified critical communication suite

Everbridge, the worldwide leader in unified critical communications based in Glendale, CA, continues to unveil new mobility and situational intelligence solutions, expanded integrations and enhancements to its global platform for enterprise critical communications. The Winter Release (2015) of the market-leading Unified Critical Communication Suite announced February 12 addresses the emerging communication challenges of our customers, providing new capabilities to ensure employee and resident safety, as well as to improve operational efficiency for governments, healthcare organizations and corporations.

New capabilities and upgrades to the Everbridge Suite include:

Platform Enhancements: In the Winter Release, Everbridge continues to deliver new performance and infrastructure enhancements to the critical communications platform, including:

• Redundant global SMS capabilities, the first for an emergency notification solution
• A 10x improvement for SMS and email delivery, and performance improvements for all modalities
• Continued data center infrastructure upgrades

Everbridge Open and Zapier Integration: The Winter Release features several new powerful integration capabilities via Everbridge Open to maximize our customers’ investment in the critical communications platform. Most notably, Everbridge is now fully integrated with Zapier to connect and automate critical communications across over 300 new web and social media applications including Salesforce, Zendesk, Amazon S3 and Hipchat. The integration makes it faster and easier to include Everbridge critical communications processes using rules and triggers based on specific events, such as server outages and support tickets.

Mobility: Another addition to the Winter Release is the recently unveiled HipaaChat—a HIPAA-compliant secure messaging and video conferencing solution. Already, this application has been adopted by healthcare organizations to enable compliant and secure mobile communications on a healthcare professionals’ preferred device, ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient patient care.

SMARTWeather Upgrades: New features and functionality added to SMARTWeather provide our customers the most flexibility available in the industry to situationally send customized weather-triggered alerts to any number of users required. These new upgrades provide the power and control to customize alerts by the severity and type of the weather event.
