DIA to host MSIC industry day

On March 24, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) posted an industry day invitation for industry engagement with DIA’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center. RSVPs are due by 5:00 p.m. Central on April 13 for the April 20 event.

The Defense Intelligence Agency’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) will host an unclassified Industry Day 20 April 2022 to present information and service needs of the Government. It is the intent to research and obtain information pertaining to the state of the industry for providing capabilities in support of: Weapon Test Challenges; Software/Firmware Advanced Reverse Engineering Tools; Digital Modernization; Advanced Sensor Exploitation, and Next Generation RF Exploitation support to the Defense Intelligence Agency in support of its execution of the MSIC mission.

The purpose of this exchange is to improve industries’ understanding of the Government requirements and to provide an opportunity for potential vendors to ask questions intended to clarify the information desired by the Government. The MSIC Director and Subject Matter Experts will present at this conference. There are no Government requirements currently and no solicitation exists. Any information received will be used for market research purposes.

Seating capacity is limited to approximately 200 attendees. Companies are limited to a maximum of two (2) registrants. Registration will be closed upon reaching seating capacity.

MSIC is a DOD center of excellence that focuses on analysis and assessment of foreign air and missile defense systems, ballistic missiles, anti-tank guided missiles, anti-satellite missile systems, and directed energy weapons. Through the use of scientific and technical methods the organization evaluates intelligence data to determine the characteristics, performance, operations and vulnerabilities of foreign weapons systems to develop intelligence assessments that provide strategic and tactical advantages to U.S. and allied forces in all current and future conflicts.

There has recently been a marked increase in the number of solicitations to the U.S. Government by sources marketing a variety of services. This industry engagement day will allow a forum for communication and overall market research related to the topics of interest to the Government.
