The Department of Defense is transforming its “modernized integrated database” (MIDB) which is based on 1990’s technology and can no longer meet the scale of 21st century information demands.  The potential acquisition intends to transform the existing MIDB (a traditional relational database management system and other associated systems) into a data environment at multiple orders-of-magnitude larger scale and transactional throughput.  The Government envisions using extensive automation and advanced analytic techniques across a broad range of data, information, and knowledge to provide efficiency and scale for both producers and clients in the future joint force.

The Washington, DC Industry Day (DC Industry Day) will be held at the SECRET//REL TO USA,FVEY classification level.  Companies will be limited to a maximum of two (2) registrants.  Registration instructions are provided below.  Registration will be closed upon reaching seating capacity or by Friday, 5 October 2018, whichever comes first.
