DIA posts NGDE sources sought

On June 8, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), posted a sources sought notice for Forcepoint Labor Services (FY23). Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on June 20.

Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) anticipates establishing a contract under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 541519, “Other Computer Related Services” with a size standard of $34,000,000. VACA is issuing this notice in order to solicit capability statements from qualified sources to ensure sufficient competition exists to meet the Government’s requirements.

It is the Government’s intent to use information gathered in response to this notice to assist in market research to determine whether to, in accordance with applicable laws, set-aside, solicit offers from all responsible sources or use the GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). GSA FSS holders are encouraged to submit their current GSA FSS number(s) and appropriate SIN(S). The anticipated length of performance is a one (1) twelve (12) month Base Period and four (4) twelve (12) month Option Periods.

The DIA has a mission requirement to consolidate classified domains used worldwide into the Next Generation Desktop Environment (NGDE) thin client system and to provide enterprise-wide cross-domain access services for the DoDIIS and IC communities.  Use of the NGDE systems allow DIA to reduce the quantity of desktop deployments while also expanding access to the infrastructure and centralizing management of each connected domain interface.

Interested parties shall review the draft Statement of Work and provide their capability to perform the requirements.  Small businesses are encouraged to respond.
