DIA posts defensive systems analysis sources sought
On August 7, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, posted a sources sought notice for Defensive Systems Analysis (Solicitation Number: HHM402-R-TBD). Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Central on August 31.
The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA), on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and the resources to support this requirement for scientific and technical intelligence analysis. The emphasis of this effort is to assess the theory of operation, characteristics and performance, physical characteristics, signatures, vulnerabilities and employment of defensive systems. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541715.
There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposal; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
After review of the SOW, any company that believes it has the capability to perform the effort may submit proof of its experience, technical/management capability and past performance related to the services described above to Mr. Alex C. Wallace, Contracting Officer, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org NLT 5:00 p.m. (Central) time, Friday, 31 August 2018. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with two (2) five (5)-year ordering periods is being contemplated. Companies submitting capability statements should be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (formerly Central Contractor Registration (CCR)) database to conduct business with this Government organization. It is anticipated that the primary place of performance will be at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, Building 4545 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500.
While the Statement of Work for this effort is not classified, a TOP SECRET facility Clearance is required and personnel physically working in the MSIC facilities must have a TS/SCI Clearance.
