CCP acquires EIS
CCP Capital Strategies, an investment firm specializing in the aerospace, defense and government sectors, announced on December 11 the acquisition of Executive Information Systems, LLC (EIS) in partnership with Charles Mathews and Patrick Krause, the company’s founders.
Headquartered in the Washington, DC area, EIS provides powerful software and related solutions to public sector customers with applications primarily in large scale data analytics for security and artificial intelligence. For more than 20 years, EIS has provided technology and expertise enabling its agency customers to solve complex problems and execute their missions effectively.
David Collier, CCP’s managing partner, said, “EIS is a great fit with our strategy to back mission-oriented companies providing technology-based solutions to government customers. We are excited to partner with Pat and Charles, both to continue to support their existing customer base and to address new analytics needs in the DoD and Intel markets.”
Charles Mathews, CEO of EIS, said, “Pat and I sought out a private equity partner experienced in the markets we operate and where we see the greatest opportunities for growth. We found that with CCP and are thrilled to collaborate to write the next chapter of the EIS story.”
