Auria adds Damian DiPippa as CEO
Auria, a leading provider of space domain awareness, space battle management and operations, and space test and training solutions and software for federal, international, and commercial customers, announced that it has welcomed Damian DiPippa as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Auria is backed by Enlightenment Capital.
DiPippa brings over 30 years of experience serving as a senior executive in the aerospace, defense, intelligence, and information technology communities with expertise in satellite operations, missile defense, systems engineering, and mission and intelligence solutions. DiPippa most recently served as CEO at ARETUM, where he established, integrated, and led the newly formed company after a series of acquisitions to provide tech enabled services and program support for defense, homeland security, and other federal government customers. Prior to that, DiPippa served as president of Peraton’s systems engineering sector and was senior vice president and general manager of Perspecta’s intelligence group. DiPippa was a key executive in the $7 billion sale of Perspecta to Peraton and instrumental in Perspecta’s transition to new ownership. Shortly after, DiPippa established and led Arcfield, a $500 million+ systems engineering spinoff of Peraton, as the founding CEO. DiPippa has held multiple other senior executive roles, including senior roles at ManTech, Northrop Grumman, Engility, and TASC.
“Auria has built an impressive suite of innovative solutions and software products with an amazing team of employees dedicated to solving the toughest challenges across the space domain,” said DiPippa. “I am excited to join this team and look forward to leveraging my experience as we continue to build and expand off the company’s technical capabilities and position us for continued growth and impact on our customers’ missions.”
“We are excited to welcome Damian to the team as we grow Auria into a leading mid-sized solutions provider in the Space sector,” said Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital and Chairman of Auria. “Damian is uniquely qualified to lead Auria through its continued rapid growth as we expand the company’s capabilities and continue providing innovative technology solutions in the complex and dynamic space community.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Damian to the Auria family,” said Tom Dickson, president at Auria. “Over my 20 years with the company, we have seen tremendous growth that has led to greater mission impact and significant opportunities for our amazing employees. Damian is the perfect leader to ensure our future remains as bright as our past.”
