Army posts RFI for C4ISR Sustainment Support
On June 22, the U.S. Army released a request for information for C4ISR Sustainment Support for Elevated Sensor Systems (Solicitation Number: W15P7T06DE403KZ01). Interested parties are requested to send a notice of interest and additional details no later than 3:00pm EST on June 27.
This is NOT a Request for Proposal; it is Market Research to assess whether or not competition is viable for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Operations, Installation, Logistics, Training, Maintenance, and Related Sustainment Support for Elevated Sensor Systems.
The Contractor shall provide systems maintenance and repair, installation, training, operator personnel, engineering, and logistics support for a wide variety of C4ISR Systems, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), and components. Unless otherwise specified, maintenance support shall be at the “sustainment level,” as defined in AR 750-1 (Arm y Materiel Maintenance Policy) and appropriate technical manuals / other specified references. Additional systems, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and components shall be added as newly developed equipment and technology advances. For any such additions, the Contractor will first review the requirement and provide estimated additional costs for completion.The Primary Elevated Sensor systems supported through this Task Order shall be Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Systems-Combined (BETSS-C) and Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID).
This requirement entails a Period of Performance increase to S3 Task Order (W15P7T-06-D-E403, Task Order KZ01). The increase in PoP is by five (5) months, with an estimated start date of 8 SEPTEMBER 2016. There will NOT be a transition period for this requirement. The Contractor has to be up and running; ready to produce by the 8 SEPTEMBER 2016 date.
