Army issues DDUS Industry Day invitation
On November 8, the U.S. Army announced an Industry Day for Digital Dual-Use Sensors (DDUS). Preregistration is required no later than 3:00 p.m. EST on December 1.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground- Belvoir Division (ACC- APG-Belvoir), on behalf of the Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) is providing is releasing this special notice, W909MY-18-R-0008*, to announce the Industry Day event for the Digital Dual-Use Sensors (DDUS) program on 12-13 December 2017. The Industry Day event will be held at the Night Vision compound located on Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

– Tuesday, December 12 / 1000 – 1600 (Government briefing of program and one-on-one sessions) / Fort Belvoir, VA Bldg. 309
– Wednesday, December 13 / 0900 – 1600 (if needed for one-on-one sessions) / Fort Belvoir, VA Bldg. 357*Previously DDUS Request for Information (RFI) were issued under W909MY-17-R-J012 and W909MY-17-R-J012_B; DDUS pOTA #2. Since a final solicitation was not released in Fiscal Year 2017, a new solicitation number was required to be created to reflect Fiscal Year 2018 (hence the change to W909MY-18-R-0008).
The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an opportunity for companies to ask questions in an open forum and one-on-one sessions will be available. Transparency and communication is critical. The Industry Day presentations will include technical, logistics, and contracting strategy. The Industry Day briefings are all unclassified.
Questions and answers presented will be recorded and posted. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as proprietary unless specifically identified as such; please be aware that identifying information as “proprietary” may preclude them from being incorporated into the final solicitation.
