AEVEX Aerospace names Gretchen Larsen Idsinga CGO
Solana Beach, CA-based AEVEX Aerospace, a full-spectrum airborne intelligence solutions company, announced on January 7 that Gretchen Larsen Idsinga has been named chief growth officer. In this role, Gretchen leads all aspects of business development, marketing, and sales across the company.
An experienced growth leader having led sales and operations teams across privately held mid-size and large public companies, Idsinga specializes in analyzing and energizing corporate strategies, developing business infrastructure, and spearheading transformative growth. She brings 20 years of military service and leadership experience across Air Force and Special Operations intelligence, ISR technology applications, and knowledge management in complex, fast-changing environments. Her expertise encompasses aerospace and defense, engineering, data management, IT, and security.

Idsinga serves on the board of directors of the National Defense Industrial Association, the defense industry’s largest trade organization, representing over 1,600 corporate and 65,000 individual members. She also serves on the advisory council of STEM for Her and is chair emeritus of the National Council of Women in Defense. A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, she holds two master’s degrees and an advanced executive certificate from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
