ECS Federal wins position on $50 billion Alliant contract vehicle

ECS Federal, LLC of Fairfax, VA announced on March 16 that it has acquired a prime position in the large business category of the U.S. General Services Administration’s Alliant Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).
The Alliant contract offers a high level of flexibility and efficiency providing optimal mission support throughout the life of the contract. Among other things, the contract provides for:
- A robust scope aligned with both the Federal Enterprise Architecture and the Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture and access to a full range of comprehensive IT services and IT services-based solutions;
- A full spectrum of contract types (fixed price, cost reimbursement, labor hour, and time and materials); and
- Worldwide coverage.
“Acquiring the Alliant contract vehicle was very important to our current and future customers,” said George Wilson, CEO and president of ECS Federal. “A portfolio of flexible, Government wide and agency specific full and open contract vehicles is critical to meeting our customer needs and our growth objectives, particularly in the Defense and intelligence space.”
