PAR Technology awarded $5.6 million U.S. Navy contract extension
PAR Technology Corporation announced on September 2 that the U.S. Navy awarded its subsidiary, Rome, NY-based Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a one year extension to its current contract to provide satellite operations and maintenance services at the Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) Headquarters located in Point Mugu, CA and detachments at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO; Prospect Harbor, ME; and Finegayan, Guam.
NAVSOC operates, manages, and maintains assigned satellites and ground systems, providing continuous, reliable, and enduring global space support, space force enhancement, and space control operations, in direct support of the Navy’s Fleet, the Joint warfighter and Interagency organizations. RRC provides telemetry, tracking and satellite control services on FLTSAT, UFO, POLAR EHF and MUOS satellite constellations to ensure 24/7/365 mission capability.
