USAF issues sources sought for WorldView and Eagle Vision Satellite programs

On May 22, the Air Force Materiel Command posted a sources sought notice for WorldView Satellite Integration & Test; Sustainment for Eagle Vision Program (Solicitation Number: FA8730-15-R-EVRFI). Responses are due electronically no later than 2:00pm EDT on June 15.

The Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Battle Management Directorate, Operations C2 Division, Intelligence Systems Branch, Eagle Vision Program is issuing a Sources Sought Synopsis for the integration, test, and sustainment of the Worldview satellite constellation processing equipment of the Eagle Vision systems.

The integration and test will include but is not limited to configuring the baseline Direct Access Facility (DAF) to add Area Order Direct Downlink (AODDL) reception and processing capability. The ordering interface and pass reception interfaces will be updated to incorporate the new operating mode.  The integration effort will be validated by active test downlinks of Worldview 1 and 2 imagery, included in this RFI.  The sustainment will include, but is not limited to, software maintenance, periodic updates, hardware maintenance, and cybersecurity (Information Assurance) updates.

Eagle Vision is a system that collects and processes data transmitted from commercial satellites including SPOT 6 & 7, Radarsat-2, RapidEye, and TerraSAR-X.  Eagle Vision includes an antenna, shelter, and processing equipment that collects and processes imagery into standard commercial formats.

Interested parties are invited to provide technical information; cost of capability; a description of customer base; and description of experience providing such products.  Completion of all integration and testing work is required no later than 6 months after award of contract.  The earliest anticipated award date is September 2015.
