NGA issues synopsis for new Exploitation Legacy Sustainment (ELS) contract opportunity
On December 22, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) issued a synopsis for its upcoming exploitation legacy sustainment (ELS) contract opportunity (proposed solicitation number: HM1572-14-T-0002).
The eXploit Program and other National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) initiatives will deliver new capabilities that will enable the retirement of many National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) legacy exploitation systems. However, it will be necessary to sustain those legacy systems until the new capabilities are operational and have demonstrated readiness for legacy system retirement. The Exploitation Legacy Sustainment (ELS) Program will provide sustainment support for selected legacy exploitation software applications until they can be retired.
Please submit questions on the Synopsis within fifteen (15) calendar days of this posting to the Q&A tab on the ELS link on the CLASSIFIED ARC 2.0 at https://acq.nro.ic.gov/ on the TS/SCI system.
The NGA plans to award the contract in April/May 2015. The complete notice is available here.
