On October 19, GRVTY announced that it has promoted Andy McEnroe to chief development officer. McEnroe joined GRVTY in June 2025 as senior vice president of corporate development. In this new role, McEnroe will continue to lead GRVTY’s corporate development efforts, including its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) program and strategic partnerships, and will play a central role in shaping GRVTY’s long-term strategy and capital allocation.
Since joining the company, McEnroe has constructed GRVTY’s M&A program from the ground up, building the sourcing, screening, diligence, and integration processes now used on every transaction. During that time, GRVTY has added capabilities in space electronic warfare, directed energy, maritime autonomy, and cyber effects markets helping the company grow from roughly 325 employees to more than 1,200 today. McEnroe also leads GRVTY’s evaluation of numerous acquisition and partnership opportunities across the defense technology market.
“Andy is a proven dealmaker and a driving force behind our growth strategy,” said Katie Selbe, GRVTY’s chief executive officer. “He brings deep knowledge of the defense and national security market and years of experience advising companies navigating growth. At GRVTY, he has paired his expertise with the judgment to find the right businesses to complement GRVTY’s current capabilities. That makes him the right leader to help shape how GRVTY grows from here.”
“GRVTY was built to deliver the technologies that will decide the next era of strategic competition, and targeted, strategic acquisitions are one of the fastest ways we can help enable capability expansion for the benefit of the warfighter and intelligence operator,” said McEnroe. “I’m grateful to Katie for her confidence, and I look forward to working with our team to continue to strengthen what we deliver to U.S. and allied forces.”
Before joining GRVTY, McEnroe spent nearly two decades in investment banking advising companies in the defense technology and government services sector. He was most recently a managing director at Guggenheim Securities. Before that, he spent nearly 10 years at Raymond James, where he co-led its Defense Technology & Government Services Investment Banking group as a managing director. McEnroe serves on the board of directors of the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital chapter.
