Saalex wins position on NIWC Pacific MAC

On August 17, Saalex Corporation announced it has been awarded a position on the U.S. Navy’s Cyberspace Science, Research, Engineering and Technology Integration Unrestricted Multiple Award Contract (MAC). Issued by Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), the contract carries a period of performance running from August 12, 2026 through August 11, 2033.

NIWC Pacific is the Navy’s principal research, development, test and evaluation and acquisition center for C4ISR and information operations. The MAC gives the command a vehicle to issue task orders across the architecture, engineering, and interoperability of cyberspace operations systems at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels, covering applied research, systems engineering and integration, software and hardware prototyping, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, training, and security engineering. Work will span offensive, defensive, and Department of Defense Information Network operations, with secure development practices integrated across the software lifecycle through DevSecOps methodologies.

“Cyberspace is where a growing share of the fight is going to be decided, and NIWC Pacific is at the center of how the Navy gets after it,” said Travis Mack, chairman and CEO of Saalex Corporation. “This award puts us in position to compete for the work that turns research and engineering into capability the warfighter can actually use, on a timeline that matters. It also reflects where we have been investing as a company, in cyber, in AI, and in secure software delivery. Seven years is a long runway, and we intend to use it.”
