On April 20, Scale AI announced the acquisition of ICG Solutions, a defense technology firm specializing in real-time streaming data analytics. This acquisition marks a milestone in the mission to provide the U.S. Department of War and the broader Intelligence Community with the most advanced, reliable AI infrastructure available, according to the company.
By formally integrating ICG’s technology with Scale’s agentic platform, Scale aims to create a unique, end-to-end intelligence solution. This full-stack approach allows government customers to move from raw data to situational awareness and AI-driven action within a single, secure environment.
Since its founding in 2010, ICG has been dedicated to helping national security customers extract mission-critical value from complex, multisource streaming data. ICG’s flagship product, LUX, has been an asset for the national security community, ingesting, correlating, and real-time alerting of massive data streams.
ICG’s expertise and LUX technology is currently leveraged across defense and intelligence components and is a core component of Scale’s work on major Department of War programs. ICG will initially operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Scale to ensure zero disruption to existing mission continuity and contract delivery, the company said.
