On November 3, Precise Systems announced the appointment of Matthew Orsino as chief growth officer (CGO). In this executive role, Orsino will lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives, business development operations, and customer engagement strategies across defense and technology markets.
“Matt’s proven leadership and deep understanding of the Department of Defense ecosystem make him an outstanding addition to our executive team,” said Scott Pfister, president and CEO of Precise Systems. “His strategic mindset and operational experience will play a pivotal role in advancing our growth trajectory while ensuring that we continue to deliver innovative, mission-ready solutions for our customers.”
With more than 28 years of Department of Defense experience, Orsino is an accomplished growth strategist and defense industry executive whose career bridges operations, strategy, and business development, with a primary focus on U.S. Navy surface and aviation programs both domestically and internationally.
In his previous leadership roles, Orsino was responsible for shaping and executing corporate growth strategies that aligned organizational capabilities in sustainment, modernization, and readiness with evolving customer requirements. He successfully expanded corporate presence in both U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) markets by leveraging his expertise in capture management, proposal development, and corporate strategy.
Earlier in his career, Orsino managed profit-and-loss centers and served as program manager for several major Navy programs, including the DDG-51 Shipbuilding Program, the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) acquisition program, and the Mk 41 Vertical Launching System FMS program. His experience spans engineering, logistics, and financial management for both U.S. and international customers.
“I’m honored to join Precise Systems at such an exciting point in its growth journey,” said Orsino. “Precise has built an exceptional reputation for technical excellence and customer partnership. I look forward to working alongside the talented team here to scale our impact, expand our markets, and continue delivering results that strengthen the mission.”
