Kägwerks and Sigma Defense partner

On October 14, Sigma Defense Systems and Kägwerks announced a strategic partnership to deliver an integrated C5ISR solution connecting warfighters at the tactical edge with real-time data, intelligence, and mission tools for greater situational awareness and decision advantage for CJADC2.

The partnership combines Kägwerks’ DOCK-Ultra, a modular edge computing platform providing multi-waveform connectivity, AI processing, and situational awareness, with Sigma Defense’s Olympus ecosystem, that delivers a Tactical Orchestration Platform (TOP) for automated provisioning, open-architecture integration, and seamless deployment of mission profiles and applications.

“The integration of DOCK-Ultra and Olympus delivers a complete edge-to-enterprise capability—bringing intelligence, orchestration, and command-and-control to the tactical edge,” said Matt Jones, CEO of Sigma Defense. “This partnership embodies the future of CJADC2 by connecting warfighters, sensors, and systems in real time for faster, smarter decision-making.”

Through this collaboration, Kägwerks and Sigma Defense deliver a unified, edge-to-enterprise C5ISR solution that connects operators, sensors, and command elements across the battlespace. Leveraging a modular, open system architecture (MOSA), the partnership enables rapid integration of radios, sensors, AI tools, and mission applications. Sigma’s Olympus platform provisions and manages Kägwerks’ DOCK-Ultra devices, ensuring mission-ready configurations while enabling software-defined command and control in disconnected environments. Together, they deliver transport-agnostic data flow and edge AI processing for real-time situational awareness, faster decisions, and a true CJADC2 advantage.

“You can’t assume risk if you can’t assess risk,” said Niko Hughes, president of Kägwerks. “Together, the DOCK-Ultra powered by Olympus enables the warfighter to sense, assess, and act faster—enhancing lethality, maneuverability, and force protection.”
