On September 25, Peraton announced its Interactive Realtime Information System (IRIS) has been designated “Awardable” through the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. The marketplace holds the DoD’s suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of AI/ML, data, and analytics capabilities. This designation enables DoD organizations to rapidly acquire and implement IRIS, expediting access to Peraton’s mission-critical capabilities for achieving information advantage.
According to the company, IRIS fundamentally transforms and modernizes end-to-end information operations research to achieve rapid, high-quality information advantage in the information environment. By combining advanced AI/ML with real-time analytics, IRIS empowers military information support operations, public affairs, strategic communications, and all aspects of information operations planning and assessment. With IRIS, operators can ingest vast amounts of information, detect emerging narratives, and deliver actionable insights faster than ever before.
“Earning ‘Awardable’ status for IRIS is an important milestone in our partnership with the Department of Defense,” said Sam Houston, vice president of cognitive warfare at Peraton. “IRIS gives the DoD the ability to stay ahead in the information environment by rapidly ingesting, analyzing, and operationalizing data at scale. This designation makes it faster and easier for our warfighters and decision-makers to leverage IRIS in support of critical missions.”
