On May 1, the U.S. Air Force posted a sources sought notice for Integrated Multi-Domain Command and Control (IMDC2). Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on May 16.
The A3OX IMDC2 Support requirement addresses the critical need to maintain continuity of mission-essential expertise within the Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) – Special Capabilities Integration from two subject matter expert (SME) positions directly supporting AF/A3O and AF/A3U in executing Special Capabilities and Programs.
At the highest level, this requirement stems from Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) — Air, Space, Cyber, Intelligence, and Space Situational Awareness (SA). Requirements are anticipated for 5 years (base period plus four 1-year options).
This is a sources sought notice, which is being released to industry for information gathering and planning purposes only pursuant to FAR Part 10 Market Research. This market research notice is being deployed to bring forth qualified, capable sources and in no way shall restrict the Government’s final acquisition strategy, planning, or requirements refinement.
