Engineering Solutions, Inc. adds to its leadership team
Engineering Solutions, Inc. (ESi) of Hanover, MD announced on Feburary 23 the assignments of Jim Cannaliato, as director of research and technology and Amy Steinberg as director of engagement and enterprise services.
“We are very excited to have Jim and Amy as part of the leadership team at ESi. Jim brings technical skills that complement the efforts of Paul Schotz and his software lab team. Amy is passionate about the mission and working alongside our talented team of engineers. She’s a great addition to our director team of Rick Hoyle, Chris Scott and David Thompson,” said Gary Rosen, president of ESi.
Cannaliato is a systems and software engineer/architect, technologist, and SCRUM master. With thirty years of experience, he has done everything from real time embedded systems, PC applications, web applications, and big data systems. Throughout his career, he has led teams and engineered successful products and systems. Right now, he has a particular focus on cloud computing, big data, and distributed systems. In his spare time, he tinkers with electronics and builds robots, including working with middle and high school kids.
Steinberg has more than a decade of leadership experience managing and supporting engineering teams across a variety of Intelligence Community customers. Her role at ESi includes oversight for a portfolio of Information Technology and Research programs as well as providing direction to ESi’s Enterprise Services team (Recruiting, HR, Security, Facilities) to ensure continuity across our internal business processes. Additionally, she will support a variety of engagement and business development initiatives.
