Vencore wins position and first major task order on new USCYBERCOM award
Vencore, Inc. of Chantilly, VA announced on May 25 that it was awarded a prime position to provide cyber operations support and services to U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM). The General Services Administration and USCYBERCOM announced the Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract, which is valued at up to $460 million, on Friday, May 20. Vencore also received the first task order under the contract, valued at $89 million, and will begin performing the work in June.
“The breadth of our background and experience, combined with key personnel that understand the USCYBERCOM mission are the definitive reasons that Vencore was selected to perform on this contract,” said Mac Curtis, president and chief executive officer of Vencore. “We are honored to expand our support and expertise to this critical component of national security.”
