USCG C5ISC to host TEM on federated IT
On July 30, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) announced plans to host a Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM). Requests to attend must be received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on August 23.
The USCG C5ISC is hosting a TEM with industry. It is the intention of the C5ISC to host recurring technical exchange meetings with industry, with each consisting of a different topic. Each of these meetings will be advertised so industry may request attendance.
As Commanding Officer Captain Kevin Carroll, stated at the last industry day, USCG wants to educate industry on some of its practices and processes. For this TEM, its experts will be discussing how and why C5ISC uses Federated IT. This discussion aims to help industry to improve their IT contract proposals and will further strengthen relationships.
This event is meant for both technical and business personnel throughout industry.
There will be no acquisition discussions at this meeting. C5ISC facilitators reserve the right to remove anyone from the virtual meeting not following the ground rules, which will be sent along with the invitation.
WHEN: This meeting will be virtual using Microsoft Teams on September 4 from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM EST.
HOW TO SIGN UP: To submit a request for attendance, please fill out the C5ISC Federated IT Technical Exchange Meeting Sign Up Form by August 23 at 4:00 PM EST.
