USCG C5ISC to host reverse industry day
On January 6, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) invited industry to join a virtual Reverse Industry Day (RID) with the USCG Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) on February 11 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Registration closes on February 7.
The USCG will discuss topics that emphasize the importance of early engagement with industry to improve the quality of requirements and increase the efficiency of the acquisition process.
Panel Sessions: (subject to change)
Session I: Acquisition Planning – Early Industry Engagement/Program Management Office Access
Session II: Developing Clear and Achievable Requirements
Session III: Proposal Preparation
Session IV: FFP vs T&M contracts
Five to eight vendors will be selected as panel members to provide feedback on one or more session topics. An open Q&A period for all participants will follow each feedback session.
To participate as a panel member, indicate interest on the registration form. Selected panel vendors will be notified via email and provided the topic questions in advance NLT 27 January 2025; therefore, anyone who wants to be a panel member MUST register prior to 17 January 2025.
