USAF releases CENTAUR RFI
On May 13, the U.S. Air Force issued a request for information (RFI) for the Cross-Domain Enterprise All-Source User Repository (CENTAUR) requirement. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on June 15.
CENTAUR is administered and managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), AFPEO Digital (AFLCMC/HB), Det 12 (Kessel Run) which is located at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. This RFI facilitates Government market research on capability and support for a content discovery/retrieval (CDR)-enabled cross security domain solution involving both U.S. security domains and domains/systems sharing Command & Control Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) data with Coalition partner nations.
Background
The Cross-Domain Enterprise All-Source User Repository (CENTAUR) is administered and managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), AFPEO Digital (AFLCMC/HB), Det 12(Kessel Run) which is located at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. The Program Management Office (PMO) is requesting responses to the questions contained herein. This RFI facilitates Government market research on capability and support for a content discovery/retrieval (CDR)-enabled cross security domain solution involving both U.S. security domains and domains/systems sharing Command & Control Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) data with Coalition partner nations.
CENTAUR transparently extends Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) and DCGS Integration Backbone (DIB) interoperability across security domain boundaries and between coalition and US systems. The PMO currently executes and manages an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to field, upgrade and support the CENTAUR system and operational infrastructure. The efforts under contract consist of hardware and software baseline configuration management and sustainment; installation, support and operations at locations around the world; and engineering support for test and evaluation, research and development, and enterprise activities. The PMO intends to identify qualified industry partners that may meet future PMO cross domain CDR capability development, sustainment, operations and support needs.
