Unisys names Chris Bauer to lead its U.S. federal civilian agency business
Unisys Corporation of Reston, VA announced on October 12 that Chris Bauer has joined the company as group vice president for civilian agencies for Unisys Federal.
In his new role, Bauer is responsible for delivering integrated Unisys solutions to multiple Unisys federal government civilian agency clients across several departments. He reports to Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal.
Bauer previously served as executive vice president and general manager at AECOM Corp., where he was responsible for the successful operation of multiple government contracts and for leading the prioritization of business development resources. Prior to that, he was a sales executive at Dell, directing and overseeing the company’s go-to-market group for clients in the U.S. government intelligence community.
He also previously held executive positions at U.S. government contractors Triple-I Corp., n-Link Corp., and American Systems Corp.
Bauer holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy. In 2016, he was named by Executive Mosaic to the Wash100 list of the most influential leaders in government contracting for his contributions in IT services.
