TSA chooses Accenture Federal Services to help hire workforce of the future
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) of Arlington, VA announced on December 22 that it has been selected to support the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Office of Human Capital (OHC) in the hiring and recruiting of 8,000 to 10,000 employees a year.
The five-year contract, worth up to $290 million, will enable AFS to assist the TSA’s OHC with a portion of its recruitment and hiring operations, which entails hiring employees for critical field positions including transportation security officers, federal air marshals, and field management, administrative and professional positions.
“Accenture is pleased to help the TSA recruit and hire high-quality employees to meet its mission of protecting our nation’s transportation security infrastructure,” said Ed Meehan, who leads AFS’ work with homeland security, law enforcement and first-response agencies. “We’re able to bring Accenture’s global leadership in human resource operations and federal HR expertise to help the TSA hire its workforce of the future.”
