Targeting and GEOINT services sought by USAF at Hanscom AFB
The Air Force Materiel Command is looking for information about vendors who could provide targeting and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) application development, modernization and sustainment efforts to the Intelligence Community, military services and combatant commands.
The work envisioned is likely to be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts, according to a sources sought document released by the Air Force on May 22.
The request for information, which is not yet a formal solicitation, asked for capabilities information from interested prospective contractors (a maximum of 10 pages) to be submitted by June 20.
“This potential effort will directly support the procurement of Targeting and GEOINT capabilities for the Military Services, Combatant Commands and the National Intelligence community, while enabling continued support to existing capabilities and services,” says the Air Force notice.
“This potential effort will be used to generate, integrate, and disseminate Targeting and GEOINT capabilities and services on existing joint architectures, such as Global Command and Control Systems Joint (GCCS-J) and the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS),” the notice adds.
