SSC selects MTSI for $640M Digital Bloodhound program

Space Systems Command (SSC), a subordinate unit of the United States Space Force (USSF), selected Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) to develop and deliver Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) capabilities across the USSF, MTSI announced January 9.

MTSI’s support of SSC and its predecessor organizations through the rapid development, prototyping, testing, and deployment of space warfighter capabilities spans over 16 years.

“The Digital Bloodhound award selection is a significant step forward for MTSI in providing engineering, test, and sustainment leadership and best-value solutions in the space domain in support of the warfighter,” said Kevin Robinson, MTSI president and CEO.

Under this base plus four option year contract, MTSI and its teammates will provide integrated program management, software development and deployment, mission/field deployment and sustainment, and cloud services support to enhance defensive cyber capabilities and mitigate cybersecurity risk across the USSF.

“Defensive Cyber Operations is an incredibly dynamic, challenging, and important mission, and as a company that owns and solves our customers’ toughest problems, we look forward to a partnership with SSC and Delta 6 cyber operators to rapidly provide and upgrade capabilities to outpace threats,” said James “Mac” MacFarlane, MTSI’s Digital Bloodhound program manager.
