SPAWAR prepares to release human factors engineering solicitation
On November 22, the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command posted a presolicitation notice for human factors engineering support (Solicitation Number: N66001-17-R-0024).
The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to issue solicitation No. N66001-16-R-0024 for the award of a Single- Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to provide the full range of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) analysis, development, research, assessment, test and evaluation, and support activities to the design and development of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4SIR) systems, including modifications, improvements, for SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific. The prospective contract will have an 18-month Base Period with an 18-month Option Period.
This is a 100% small business set-aside competition, anticipated to result in the award of a single award contract. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 ($38.5M size standard). There are no incumbents on this contract, as this is a new effort.
