SPAWAR issues SATCOM RFP

On February 12, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command released the request for proposals for SOCS SATCOM Support (Solicitation Number: N65236-17-R-0005).

Solicitation N65236-17-R-0005 is hereby released. RFP N65236-17-R-0005 as issued along with RFP Exhibit A (CDRLs A001 through A034), and RFP Attachments 1A through 12 are attached below. Solicitation questions will be accepted 10 days after the Solicitation release date and must be submitted via email. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted.

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic has a requirement to provide services in support of Special Operations Deployable Tactical Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, Enterprise Networks, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems for United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and various joint warfighting customers.

This work directly supports the defense posture of the United States and programs that enable strategic and tactical communications, Command and Control, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance dissemination for United States (US) Special Operations Forces. The work encompasses complete systems life cycle support from development, test, and certification through integration, operator training and fielding, life cycle sustainment, and disposal.

The scope of the work includes worldwide technical and logistics support for approximately 2,500 deployable SATCOM systems and the supporting Wide Area Network terrestrial and satellite gateway infrastructure distributed over approximately 90 sites Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS).
