SPAWAR announces presolicitation conference for C5I RFP
On March 28, the U.S. Navy Space and Warfare Systems Command posted a presolicitation synopsis and presolicitation conference information for the Production & Delivery of Integrated C5ISR Systems, Networks, and Support Equipment acquisition (Solicitation Number: N65236-15-R-0010).
Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of Integrated C5ISR Systems, Networks, and Support Equipment in support of multiple large acquisition programs on various Navy platforms. This procurement will require the contractor to perform production management support, production engineering support and production execution in order to successfully deliver C5I systems to the Fleet. The production of integrated systems/equipment is highly complex and includes environmentally tested hardware designs, customized electronics, transit cases, multiple software applications, security applications, rack integration, and military standard engineered cable assemblies.
The estimated release date for the formal RFP is May 12, 2017. The Government is planning to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference and Site Visit on April 21, 2017 at the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic Building 3112, Conference Center on Joint Base Charleston.
