SPA – Envisioneering Joint Venture awarded potential $28B R&D support IDIQ
Joint Venture partners Alexandria, VA-based Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) and Envisioneering, Inc., a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, announced on September 13 that they were selected as an awardee for the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) under Pool 2 of the potential nine-year, $28B contract to provide Research and Development (R&D) support services for the Defense Department.
Under this contract, the SPA-Envisioneering Joint Venture will provide research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) and other R&D related analytical services to support DoD components and other U.S. Government agencies and departments. The broad technical scope supports all aspects of identified or potential military, national security-related, and dual-use applications of related technologies and methods. The period of performance runs until 2027.
In a joint statement Brad Lewis, Envisioneering president, and Dr. William Vantine, SPA president and CEO, said, “Envisioneering and SPA are extremely pleased to be awarded this contract and to have the opportunity to conduct and/or support a wide range of studies, evaluations, and analysis of methods in technical areas of vital interest to our clients and across DoD.”
