Sotera wins prime position on multi-million dollar Army TIES contract
Sotera Defense Solutions(Sotera), a Herndon, VA-based provider of mission-critical, technology-based systems, solutions and services for national security agencies and programs of the U.S. Government, announced on July 16 that it was recently awarded a prime position on the Technical Information Engineering Services (TIES) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) – Unrestricted Suite.
TIES is a Multiple-Award IDIQ contract administered by the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The scope and purpose of the TIES IDIQ is to provide the requisite operational, program management, technical, engineering, integration, prototype development and fabrication, program support services and products necessary for U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) to meet its mission and customer needs.

The suite of TIES IDIQ contracts has a multi-million dollar ceiling. The TIES acquisition was solicited with an unrestricted competition pool under a full and open competition and a restricted competition pool as a partial small business set aside.
