Sotera lands piece of SPAWARSYSCEN’s $900 million C5ISR contract
Sotera Defense Solutions, a provider of mission-critical, technology-based systems, solutions and services for national security agencies and programs of the U.S. government, announced on January 28 that the company has been awarded a prime contract on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic Transport, Computing and Infrastructure Pillar (TCI).
Deb Alderson, Sotera’s president and CEO, commented on the award, “We are very pleased to continue supporting the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic mission through the TCI contract. SPAWAR is one of Sotera’s key customers. Over the last several years we have made significant infrastructure and personnel related investments in the Charleston market to better align and deliver Sotera’s capabilities to SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic’s mission needs.”
The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle will be used to procure services and solutions (equipment and services) associated with the full system lifecycle support including research, development, test, evaluation, production and fielding of sustainable, secure, survivable, and interoperable Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR), Information Operations, Enterprise Information Services (EIS) and Space capabilities.
The $900 million ceiling will be shared among the multiple awardees.
