SOSi wins spot on $6.5B State Dept. IDIQ
SOS International LLC of Reston, VA announced on July 18 that it was awarded a seat on a 10-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a combined $6.5 billion ceiling, with the U.S. Department of State. The IDIQ contract is entitled Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) and was established to provide logistics operations, life support services, and operation and maintenance services globally.
The contract’s focus is on contingency environments, but was established to provide support throughout the world, as needed. The types of services to be provided include: program management, procurement, logistics, construction and renovation, food service and dining facility management, facilities maintenance/repair, property leasing, security system management, laboratory construction and management, travel services, medical services, and insurance.
