SOSi selected by US Army to provide training for the Saudi Ministry of Interior-Military Assistance Group Security Assistance Program

SOS International LLC (SOSi) of Reston, VA announced on December 19 that it has been awarded a multi-year prime contract by the U.S. Army to create and manage a tailored training program for Security Assistance Officers deploying to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work in support of the Ministry of Interior-Military Assistance Group (MOI-MAG).

Classes will begin in Northern Virginia in January 2017. SOSi subject matter experts will address several key learning objectives: U.S. policy in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East; cultural awareness/competency; history and politics; and communication.

SOSi specializes in developing foreign assistance training programs for the Department of Defense (DoD) North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO); Department of State (DOS) and other federal agencies. The company opened an office in Riyadh and hired Major General (U.S. Army, Ret.) Robert Catalanotti to spearhead its operations in the country in 2016.

Based in Riyadh and funded through the Foreign Military Sales Program, the MOI-MAG is a U.S. Army Security Assistance Command organization established to provide technical training and assistance in military affairs and security to the Saudi MOI, which is responsible for national security, naturalization, immigration and customs.
