SOSi names Lisa Wilkinson chief HR officer

On November 18, Reston, VA-based SOSi announced that it has hired Lisa Wilkinson as chief human resources officer. With more than 25 years of human resources experience, Wilkinson will lead SOSi’s workforce planning and development, talent acquisition and retention, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, diversity and inclusion programs, and compliance.

Prior to joining SOSi, Wilkinson spent nearly 17 years in the aerospace and defense industry, most recently as vice president, people and culture at SES Space and Defense. She served as an executive lead for the company’s successful acquisition and integration of DRG GES, where she held the senior director, human resources position. A member of SES Space and Defense’s leadership team, she created a people-centric culture that accelerated performance, dramatically reduced voluntary turnover, and drove organizational value.

“Lisa will assume responsibility for SOSi’s most valuable asset: our people,” said Julian Setian, SOSi chief executive officer. “Her experience and demonstrated successes give me full confidence in her ability to grow, nurture, and empower SOSi’s global workforce to deliver innovation and tangible results for our government clients.”

“SOSi’s view of human resources as a strategic function aligns with my belief that a people-centered workplace is key to building high-performing, engaged teams that fuel business growth,” said Wilkinson. “My goal is to extend SOSi’s strongly defined, inclusive culture to every corner of the organization to ensure each employee feels included, valued, and empowered.”
