SOS International LLC acquires New World Solutions

SOS International LLC (SOSi) of Reston, VA announced on January 29 the acquisition of New World Solutions, a defense and intelligence contracting firm that specializes in imagery science, cyber analytics and advanced technology research and development. Its primary customers include the Office of the Secretary of Defense, National Ground Intelligence Center, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, and other agencies in the national intelligence community.
Harry Looney, New World Solutions’ president and co-founder, will continue to lead the firm as a subsidiary of SOSi. The business will fall under SOSi’s Intelligence Solutions Group led by Vice President Bob Billeaud. “New World Solutions gains tremendous benefit from joining forces with SOSi,” said Looney. “Our organizations’ common philosophies, shared values and complementary customer base ensure an even stronger future team.”
The addition of New World Solutions significantly increases SOSi’s presence within the intelligence community in the national capital region and broadens its clients and technical capabilities to support the national cyber and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
