SNC adds Chris Shank as enterprise strategy VP
On February 27, SNC announced that it has welcomed Chris Shank as vice president of enterprise strategy. In this new role, Shank’s focus is on developing and coordinating overall enterprise business strategy across the company’s business areas.
“Chris is a highly accomplished industry leader who brings successful business development strategies and deep customer relations experience,” said Tom Andersen, senior vice president of Washington, DC, operations. “He plays an instrumental role in elevating SNC strategies, especially as the company positions for rapid growth and the demand for SNC products and capabilities accelerates. Chris is key in facilitating opportunities with customers, partners and across the company.”
Shank brings nearly three decades of broad industry experience including defense, business strategy and systems engineering. He leverages his extensive background to develop the strategic and growth architecture to support SNC’s evolving business priorities.
Shank joins SNC from Maxar, where he served as vice president and general manager. During his time at Maxar, Shank led business development across space infrastructure for commercial, U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), NRO and NASA customers. He also held various progress leadership roles with the DOD, Honeywell and NASA.
“It’s an honor to join SNC with its strong leadership team and commitment to redefining the aerospace industrial base through disruptive innovation,” said Shank. “I look forward to optimizing SNC’s business growth and elevating enterprise-level strategy to allow SNC to continue fulfilling its mission to safeguard freedom.”
