Salient Federal Solutions awarded three mass notification systems task orders
Salient Federal Solutions, Inc., of Fairfax, VA, announced on December 15 that it has received awards for three task orders, totaling more than $2.2M, from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic. These task orders are for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) mass notification systems indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Mass notification systems employ life safety technologies. This enables the Marine Corps leadership to notify their personnel, in a timely and effective manner, in the event of emergencies, exercises, or other circumstances as needed.
Under these task orders, Salient will be designing, procuring, delivering, installing, and upgrading indoor and outdoor emergency mass notification systems for 20 USMC sites.
Bill Parker, COO of Salient, commented on the awards, “We are honored to continue our long standing relationship with the United States Marine Corps and the privilege to be their leading provider for mass notification support since 2010. We will provide lifesaving mass notification technologies that will protect the service men and women, who dedicate their lives to defending our country.”
