Salient CRGT appoints Joseph Zimmerman as vice president, enterprise solutions group
Salient CRGT, Inc., a leading provider of Agile software development, data analytics, mobility, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions, today announced the addition of Joseph Zimmerman as vice president, enterprise solutions group (ESG). He will lead Salient CRGT’s delivery oversight at the U.S. Postal Service and other strategic accounts, with additional responsibilities in business development in new customer capture, including expansion into the Department of Defense, and propelling Salient CRGT’s market leading solutions in Agile and mobile development.
Zimmerman is a military veteran with more than 20 years of active duty experience as an officer in the United States Marine Corps where he served as company commander and operations officer. As a proven leader, he brings 28 years of successful management experience and a track record of superior results in growing organizations both organically and through new opportunities.

Before joining Salient CRGT, Zimmerman was the chief operating officer for Pyramid Systems, where he was responsible for overall corporate strategy and day-to-day management across operations, business development, contracts, human resources, security, corporate IT, and facilities. With more than 100 employees and revenue in excess of $25 million, he established their first ever comprehensive business plan and was able to bring key leadership into operations and human resources.
Prior to joining Pyramid, he held several progressive leadership positions at InfoReliance Corporation, eventually becoming their executive vice president of operations. During the course of his tenure, he came to lead the company’s entire services portfolio including software engineering, cyber security, cloud computing, and enterprise IT capability areas to include customers in the defense, civilian and commercial sectors.
