Salesforce unveils Missionforce

Salesforce has announced a new business unit and initiative called Missionforce to significantly deepen its focus on national security. This new part of the business will bring Salesforce’s proven AI, cloud and platform capabilities to support mission-critical workflows for the U.S. defense, intelligence, and aerospace communities, according to the company.

Missionforce will modernize national security systems and processes, turning defense, intel, and aerospace organizations into agentic enterprises where human employees and AI agents work together to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance operational readiness.

“With Missionforce, we are doubling down on our commitment to the national security community. We are proud of our long history supporting U.S. defense, intel and aerospace, including deep partnerships with the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force. With Missionforce, we’ll now bring the best of AI, cloud, and platform technology from the private sector to modernize critical areas including personnel, logistics, and analytics. The goal is simple: to help our warfighters and the organizations that support them operate smarter, faster, and more efficiently. There’s never been a more important time to serve those who serve,” said Kendall Collins, CEO of government cloud at Salesforce

With a multi-billion-dollar global public sector business and the U.S. government as its single largest customer, Salesforce has a long-standing and trusted relationship with government agencies across national security. Salesforce is already used today by the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force and has invested heavily in the intelligence community. Because of this investment, Salesforce is proud to be available to all IC components.
