Ross Ashley joins SAP National Security Services as SVP
SAP National Security Services® (SAP NS2®) today announced the appointment of former Assistant Administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Grant Programs Directorate, Ross Ashley, as Senior Vice President of Business and Partner Development. In this role, he will be responsible for supporting mission-focused areas across key sectors of the national security space.
A former Air Force Intelligence Officer, Ashley joins SAP NS2 after serving 20 years in the Virginia National Guard and Air Force reserves. Most recently, Ashley founded and served as the Executive Director of the National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) and represented the interests of all 78 State and Major Urban area Intelligence Fusion Centers. Prior to this role, Ashley served at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after being confirmed by the United States Senate in December of 2007. In his position at DHS, Ross managed over $10.1 billion in disaster and non-disaster grant funds for State, Local, Territorial and Tribal governments.

In addition to his work in the public sector, Ashley is also an established entrepreneur, having co-founded The Templar Corporation in 2000. Over the course of four years, Ashley grew the company to support federal, state and local public safety agencies across the United States and Canada, before selling the The Templar Corporation to ChoicePoint in early 2004.
