On June 9, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted the following presolicitation notice for the GSR-Yorktown contract (Solicitation Number: HM0476-16-R-0016).
In accordance with FAR 5.203, this is a Pre-Solicitation notice. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to post a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the GSR-Yorktown contract. NGA intends to execute a single award ID/IQ contract to fulfill the requirement. The duration of the ordering period is expected to be 5 years in length, with 12-month Task Orders. The anticipated award date of the effort is January 2017.
The overall objective of the GSR-Yorktown contract is to develop a capability that can search and retrieve all content from NGA, and additional content from the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), the Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and emergent NGA sources. The goal is to enable a more efficient and effective search and retrieval mechanism for mission, corporate and functional content within the NGA, the NSG, and the Intelligence Community (IC).
