Peraton names Matt McQueen chief communications officer
Peraton has named Matt McQueen chief communications officer, the Herndon, VA-based company announced December 11.
McQueen will have responsibility for Peraton’s communications strategy and execution, including media relations, employee communications, branding, and executive communications.
He most recently led the communications team for Northrop Grumman’s Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions and Space ISR Systems divisions, and had enterprise responsibilities for the company’s cyber branding efforts. Earlier in his career, McQueen held senior roles in Northrop Grumman’s strategic communications, government relations, strategic planning, and business development functions. He brings extensive experience in integrated communications, public policy, and technology market development.

McQueen holds a master’s degree in organizational management and science from The George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from The College of Wooster. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations, including the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Lead Virginia, George Mason University Honors College, and currently chairs the WashingtonExec MARCOM Council.
